Paul Jan Zdunek, Vice President, Pacific West

Paul Jan Zdunek starts his new role with Boys & Girls Clubs of America on December 17, 2018. He brings over 20 years of experience providing business leadership and advisory services for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Paul is responsible for direction in support of the assessment of organizational needs, the design, implementation and evaluation of services that facilitate organizational development, and sustained progress of local Boys & Girls Clubs. He is also responsible for implementing consultation services that deliver on key objectives: building effective Boards with greater leadership, ensuring a stronger Club organization with staff skilled in leadership, increasing dynamic programs and outcomes, and increasing organizational resource development capacity.

Paul has been a Chief Restructuring Officer, Business Transformation Advisor, Change Management Leader, and Interim Executive for institutions requiring financial stabilization or organizational revitalization. Paul has designed and leads transformational initiatives that help organizations reach their maximum potential through custom-created strategies that revitalize Leadership’s commitment to the organization, align visions and strategies, identify critical action steps to improve performance, and build a culture of team.

Paul is a PROSCI® Certified Change Management Professional. He is the professor of Management of Public and Nonprofit Organizations at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy and continues to deliver keynote speeches at industry conferences and executive retreats on the topics of business transformation and revitalization. Paul earned an M.B.A. from Claremont Graduate University, Peter F. Drucker School of Management.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America Names Jocelyn Woods National Youth of the Year

Boys & Girls Clubs of America has named Jocelyn Woods National Youth of the Year in a ceremony held at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C. She accepted the honor before an audience that included members of Congress and Boys & Girls Clubs of America partners and supporters, including Club alum and American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Misty Copeland, Grammy Award winner and actress Ashanti and comedian JB Smoove.
